Marymount residents and community partners gathered today in the Zone 1 precinct for the joyous grand opening of the new covered linkway by Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council (BTPTC).

We were delighted to welcome Ms Gan Siow Huang, Chairperson of BTPTC and Adviser of Marymount SMC, to officiate the opening and join residents in the walking trail of the linkway. Spanning a distance of over 130 metres, the new covered linkway with Barrier Free Access ramp connects the MSCP Blk 212A to 220, benefitting residents from the whole precinct.

The new linkway is part of BTPTC's Neighbourhood Renewal Programme (NRP) to rejuvenate living spaces for Marymount residents. It aims to provide shelter for residents in rain and shine, and improve accessibility and convenience for the community.
