Bulky Item Removal Services

Please read these terms and conditions before proceeding with the application. By proceeding with an application, you agree to these terms.

Terms and Conditions

  • This is a complimentary service for residents of HDB flats within Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC and Marymount SMC. Requests can be made via:
    • Phone call
    • Online Submission
    • Walk-in at Town Council Office
  • Applicants must give Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council at least two (2) working days' advance notice.
  • This service is available from Mondays to Fridays, between 2pm and 5pm. There is no service on Saturdays, Sundays, and on the eve and the actual day of Public Holidays.
  • Applicants may contact Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council to reschedule their appointment, subject to availability.
  • Each household is limited to one (1) trip per month, with a maximum of three (3) items per trip.
  • This service does not cover the following:
    • Clearing of renovation debris
    • Built-in furniture (e.g., customised & built-in cabinets, windows, frames, doors, toilet bowls, sinks, and the like)
    • Heavy items (e.g., fish tank, organ, piano, safe and the like)
    • Small items (e.g., newspaper, boxes, clothing and the like)
    • Any furniture that requires dismantling before removal or that cannot fit into lifts
    • Commercial/trade refuse
    • Any item deemed by our workers as unsuitable for removal
  • Applicants are to tag the items for removal and place them outside their unit on removal day.
  • When items cannot be placed outside the unit, our workers will enter the unit with the resident's consent to remove them.
  • Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council reserves the right to reject items that do not meet our conditions after assessment at the Applicant’s unit.
  • Applicants agree to indemnify Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council against any claims arising from personal injury or property damage resulting from the services rendered.
  • For the removal of more than three (3) items, applicants may engage the conservancy manager through a private arrangement. The Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council bears no responsibility for, and assumes no liability in connection with, any such private arrangement.
  • Applicants understand and agree to Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council’s Personal Data Protection Policy.

For the safety of you and your neighbours, please do not leave bulky items in common areas such as staircase landings and lift lobbies, in any manner that may obstruct access, or before the scheduled day of removal. Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council may take action against you if you do so.
