In a concerted effort to address crow-related concerns in the neighbourhood, Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council (BTPTC) and the National Parks Board (NParks) conducted a joint inspection this morning. The initiative focused on areas along Blks 123 to 128 Lorong 1 and 2 Toa Payoh; as well as Blks 175, 177 to 179, 181, 183 to 186, 190 to 193 Lorong 2, 4, 6 Toa Payoh and Toa Payoh Central.
The inspection successfully identified critical crow hotspots, nesting sites, and potential food sources. In response, BTPTC will implement immediate measures such as tree pruning and the removal of nests, while NParks will deploy crow traps.
These targeted actions aim to enhance the safety and quality of life for residents in the affected areas, creating a better living space in BTPTC
