Crow Joint Operation with NParks in BESM

In addressing the crows-related issues in the neighbourhood, Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council (BTPTC) and National Parks Board (NParks) conducted a joint inspection. Adopting a targeted approach, the site inspection covered areas with high crow-issues feedback like Blocks 148 to 152B, 192, 196 & 197 and Bishan Town Centre.

During the joint inspection, crows hotspots, roosting & nesting spots and potential food sources were identified. To mitigate the crow issues in the precincts, BTPTC will be taking immediate measures like tree pruning and removal of crow nests while NParks will continue with the placement of crow traps and conducting crow nest surveys.
