We have received numerous feedback from Bishan East residents on the growing birds population in the neighbourhood. With residents’ well-being as our topmost priority, we have taken the following actions:

• Pruning and trimming of trees to remove crow nests
• Treatment at sites with overpopulation of pigeons
• Promptly clearing of food waste at common spaces

While we appreciate nature and constantly strive towards a balance, harmonious co-existence in the urban heartlands, behavioural patterns of crows and pigeons have continued to cause noise disturbances and cleanliness issues in the estate; disrupting the peace and well-being of residents.

Maintaining a clean and conducive living environment requires the collective efforts of both the Town Council and Community. Let’s work together in making our beautiful heartlands a clean and green home to live in.
