Welcome to Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council.

We were formed in January 1997 as a result of two previous GRCs (Group Representation Constituencies) merging into Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC.

Geographically, the Town spreads over three main estates; Toa Payoh, Bishan and Thomson.

Toa Payoh, being the oldest estate at 30+ years, has been rejuvenated over the last few years. The old rental blocks have made way for towering modern residential blocks with spanking new facilities. The rest of the estate has been MUP (Main Upgrading Programme) or is in the process of it.

Bishan estate spans both Bishan East and Bishan North areas. Its central location with many good schools makes it an attractive place for Singaporeans to settle here.

Thomson covers the Shunfu and Sin Ming sectors. The estate is interspersed with an abundance of eating houses and automobile services.

We manage and maintain the common areas of HDB estates. Put it simply, we look after the areas outside the HDB residents units.
